Hi, I am Shannon founder and creator of “Boogiebead” and “Boogiebeadsandthings”.

The name boogiebead was derived from my love of beads and my childhood dreaded nickname of "Boog". There is no reason for the nickname except to utterly annoy me as a child. As an adult I have decided to embrace it; "Boogie" because who doesn't love it. Don't deny the secret dance you do to your favorite song. Its even better in front of mirror.
